Terence Kirk, Director

Terence Kirk is a Director at UISOL. He has over 27 years of experience in the IT industry, and for the last fourteen years he has been an Information Technology consultant with wide exposure to Technical and Management roles, including Enterprise System Architecture and Infrastructure, Software Development, System Integration, Project Management, Deployment Management and Test Management. He has delivered multiple systems for global, mid market and start up clients ranging from Fortune 500 to dot COM. His industry experience includes the Pharmaceutical, High Technology, Telecommunications, Entertainment & Media and Manufacturing industries.

His competency lies in architecting and delivering Enterprise solutions for Customer Relationship Management and Contact Centers to a breadth of clients and industries, focusing on the Customer Service, Sales, Field Service, Marketing, and Defect tracking business processes.

Prior to UISOL, he was an IT consultant with IBM (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers), engaged in designing, implementing and delivering large scale CRM and Contact Center solutions to a variety of clients.

Prior to IBM, he held several software development and leadership positions at ICI (South African Nylon Spinners), where he led the design, construction, development and implementation of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems in a Polymer and Nylon manufacturing plant.

Specific clients have included Directv, Sprint, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Genentech, Chiron Corporation, Sun Microsystems, Cadence Design systems, Symantec, Stamps.com, Siebel Systems, MicroAge, Universal Studios and IBM NUMA-Q (formerly Sequent Computers).

Throughout his career, Terence has been able to leverage and advance his technical and management skills. He has M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Capetown, South Africa. His M.Sc. thesis entailed development of an embedded control system for Nylon Spinning machines.
