Mark Triplett is the Chief Operating Officer at UISOL. He has over twenty years of experience in business operations management in the areas of software development, enterprise application integration, manufacturing, telecommunications network management and Local Exchange Carrier operations.
Most recently Mark was a Vice President and member of the Executive Management Committee at SureWest Communications, a local telecommunications utility, responsible for selling and delivering telecommunications services to businesses and residents in the greater Sacramento Region. He also served on the Systems Migration Strategy Team responsible for review, planning, and upgrading of the company’s enterprise information systems architechure and related back office applications.
Prior to SureWest, Mark served as the Vice President of eBusiness Solutions at Vitria Technologies, an enterprise application integration software company. He was responsible to develop the strategy and team to deepen the penetration in the Telecommunications markets, but more importantly, to penetrate non-telco markets including the Electrical Energy market. Responsibilities included the research and determination of which other markets to pursue, which cross industry problems to solve, then architect and develop the appropriate solutions, and support the sales team in bringing the products to market. The team included marketing personnel, industry experts, and software developers. In the Energy market our solutions were developed in the area of integrated Demand Response.
Prior to Vitria, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer of AiMetrix, a software development company specializing in network management with a primary focus on telecommunications companies. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and an emphasis on Operations Research and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from San Diego’s National University.
